Red and Black, Win or Lose
Nicknames was created by dapolla
I'm counting down the hours, no the MINUTES till football season kicks off, and so it's time for my wistfull \"Just stuff about the Dawgs\" posts. In an earlier post about Brannan Southerland I referred to him as \"The Big Sledgehammer,\" which is what Scott Howard calls him every time we hand him the ball. So it got me to thinking: what are some good nicknames that Georgia players have had over the years? Please feel free to contribute to this thread!!!
Here are the ones I have heard over the years:
1) Brannan Southerland - \"The Big Sledgehammer\"
2) Hap \"Hapless\" Hines
3) Richard Tardits - \"Le Sack\"
4) Theron Sapp - \"The Droughtbreaker\"
5) Joe Tereshinski III - \"Joe T Three\"
6) The Baileys - \"Champ\" and \"Boss\"
Any other good ones that you can think of? The big dapolla is all ears.

Bill Pace, who used to coach at Georgia before he went to Tennessee, called Robert Miles a pansy. Erk Russell used Pace's reference before every game to motivate his National Championship winning defense.
One thing Erk could do was motivate the defense, even to the point of head butting his players with his bald head. He would be bleeding but he didn't care.
R.I.P. Erk.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dapolla: I'll give you the nickname & you give me the players name. You have got till Monday to come up with the answers. Here goes: the booten tuten, the georgia brat, the rodchester rocket, the coot, the big toe from cario, the little round man, the bowl master, long john, foots, the rock. There are many more, all coined by Coach Dan Magill.
All you Dawg Fans give me some answers. As always, GO DAWGS11111111
