ERK! ERK! ERK!!!
Seriously, I'm still upset about Erk no longer being with us. He once described Vince Dooley's sideline body language as \"a one-legged man trying to do the twist.\" I have a t-shirt featuring Erk (with droplets of blood on his forehead, of course) putting a bulldog and an eagle into a headlock with either arm. The legend reads, \"Uncle Erk.\"
Time to put together a couple of shutouts that Erk would be proud of, Dawgs! Everyone is hyping our offense nationwide, but NO ONE is talking about our defense. Well, Willy proved it to me last year. And everyone here knows I was giving CWM until the END of last year to prove it to me. He came through with flying colors, ESPECIALLY in the Auburn game.
This is the year we make legends out of ourselves, Dawgs. This is the year that drunken coeds will get tattooed on their posteriors with happy tears in their eyes, swearing that the tattoo artist's needle is humming \"Glory, Glory.\" This is the year we raise TWO more flags, the year we all drive down to Athens to welcome our triumphant Dawgs home from Miami, the year that Larry will be able to say, \"Okay, I can just go fishing now.\"
...and it ain't the last year we'll do those things, either!
