sports writers are a little retarded

i found this to be pretty funny. so far everyone who has not put us at the top spot has had the excuse \"Their schedule is to hard\". well i was just on espn.com and looked at the bowl predictions. guess where they had us...in the NC game playing Ohio State. It made me chuckle since they wont put us at #1 but they will put us in their predictions in the NC game.

Interesting post GaBoi. Also found it interesting that one of the bowl matchups was Florida vs. Illinois. Think that I counted 10 or so SEC teams that are predicted to play in the list of bowls. That doesn't surprise me quite frankly. Here it is July and I am wanting to see the leaves change in North Georgia. Like sadlerdawg said . . . ready for some football. Good find. Go Dawgs!

We have our work cut out for us. I trust Coach Richt will have our guys focused and ready. Hopefully the team will focus on the moment and not get caught up in all the hype. We can do that for them.
I am anxious to see how the defense performs. I believe our NC hopes depend on that.

averagedawg, could not agree more. If this defense is ready, UGA is going to be really hard to handle. Like the speed that we have on defense, will mean a lot for many of our games. Auburn going to another way of advancing the football (advancing love that ) speed is going to put Tommy Tub of ---- looking for another way to score. Two of the coaches in the SEC that I don't particularly care for, Phat Phil and Tommy Tub of it. Speaking for myself, have said it before, I like the schedule that is ahead of the Dawgs. While I know that the BLOCK VOTES in the Northeast will insure that Ohio State is in the final. . . .SEC RULES. We of the Red and Black have every right to stick our chests out, and should, we have earned everything that is being pointed in our direction. wlayton got me pumped today with the receiver message he posted. Come on WM, get these guys ready for a incredible year. I refuse to believe that we can't do this, have never been a defeatist. (Is that a word?) Go Dawgs, will live and die with the Red and Black.

Buc, I think Coach Martinez learned a valuable lesson last year about having these guys prepared and fired up each week. I think it started after the UT debacle and was top priority after the Vandy scare. You could just see a different attitude with those guys starting at the Cocktail Party. These guys will be ready--I don't think Coach Martinez wants to be embarrassed again like he was last year.
