Understand 10/11 . . . . One of the reasons that the Staff Report below draws my attention is the GPA. Not quite sure why the Bees did not get this one. (Tongue in cheek). The main reason it excites me is that Tennessee was really after Dallas Lee. They will get to see a lot of him in the coming years . . . . in the RED AND BLACK. Who knows, maybe even in the SILVER BRITCHES. averagedawg was right some months back when he said that Coach Searles was going to payoff in a big way for the UGA. Go Dawgs . . . Go Larry Munson.

Offensive lineman commits to Bulldogs

Buford High School's Dallas Lee has committed to play on the offensive line at Georgia, becoming the eighth recruit in the Bulldogs' 2009 class.

Tennessee, Florida, Florida State and South Florida recruited the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Lee to play defensive tackle, but the Bulldogs project him at center or guard.

\"That really speaks to his athleticism,\" Buford coach Jess Simpson said Sunday. \"He's a very good athlete, plays great with his hands. He's explosive and tough for his size. He's a 3.7 GPA guy and has a great understanding of the game. As a rising senior, he gets it. He has a lot of upside.\"

Lee played every snap on defense last season and about 50 percent of the time on offense at left tackle for the unbeaten Class AA state champions.

dapolla, no worries about USC. They will have a pretty good D but their offense will be suspect at best. After last year......these Dawgs are going to put a serious whuppin' on those boys!!

After reading this post, watched the game between South Carolina and Arkansas. I would be absolutely wiped out if UGA did not really put Spurrier in his place in Columbia. There is no way that South Carolina can handle all of the different aspects to the UGA game. After watching the game again, I now can appreciate more than ever some of the predictions about UGA being in the top 5 in the country. Another thing that really has me in the upbeat mood is the talk about our receivers, receivers catching the ball. We did a pretty good job last year, some excellent catches. Just think with the ground game being what it is, our receivers, including the TE's, will be able to find open areas. Think that I read somewhere that Bobo was adding some new twists to the offense. Reason I say that is watching McFadden taking snaps against South Carolina. This group of athletes at UGA with an outstanding QB, putting in some new twists, could rock anyones world. Our QB is going to take off some this year, big, strong, fearless. We beat South Carolina in Columbia, this Dawg team is going to be tough to handle. Looking forward to 10/11. Go Dawgs.

Hey Buc, there are going to be a lot of teams taken \"out back to the woodshed\" for a good old fashion WHUPPIN' this year.....can't wait!! IF we come to play.....NOBODY can beat us.

Have ya'll noticed the Gamecocks M.O. lately, start out strong and peter out down the stretch? It seems they always play one of their best games against us. I think our kids remember what the Cocks and the Vols did to us last year.
Man, am I ready for some paybacks. I think this is the year for us, players AND leaders. I'm with you. I pray to God I'm around on Oct. 11.
