dapolla, guess this might sound like it is a little off track. However, losing to the Gamecocks last year, also the Volunteers, think that it gives us that added incentive to \"right the ship\". Do not believe this group of athletes want to lose to either of the two schools that really \"woke this squad up\". I would be surprised if we lost to either of the two, again based on last years results.
Know that Spurrier is going to toss the ball all over the field, that is a given with the speed that we have on defense. South Carolina does have a respectable back or two, just do not believe that they can ran on this group of UGA players. Anyone that believes that Spurrier is giving up the play calling totally is barking at the moon. Looks as if he is trying to mimic CMR . . . just a thought.
The talking heads, especially Lee Corso, likes to go out on a limb, makes him look so much better when he \"predicts\" an upset. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching Corso playing his \"role\", but that is what he is paid to do.
With the firepower that this group has, would really hate to be the coach or coaches on the opposing sideline. A lot of the UGA players learned a valuable lesson last year (Tennessee especially) that will not be soon forgotten. If UGA stays relatively healthly this is truly a national contender.
One last note, read today where we had another commitment to the 2009 UGA squad. Think maybe some of the athletes are catching on to the fact that CMR and his group are not going to play the \"wait and see game\". Georgia will beat South Carolina by 12 at least. Go Dawgs.
