G-day game was pretty exciting I thought. Caleb King looked darn good to me & I was very impressed w/the size, power, & explosiveness of the next great UGA RB, the 17 yr. old kid, Richard Samuel. I was very pleased w/Stafford's accuracy as well; I think he might've thrown one bad ball all game. Young Logan Gray looked very promising to me, especially his mobility & ability to throw on the run. At WR, Troupe played very well but Moore stole the show w/2 TD's and a spectacular catch at the sideline. I would've liked to have seen the secondary cover a little better & the LB's play more stoutly against the run but all in all I was pretty pleased with what I saw.
It was a real pleasure for me to finally meet sadlerdawg & his son dawg/tiger (we gotta lose the tiger part, he sure seems like an outstanding young fella ) at the G-day game last Saturday. They were kind enough to save me & a buddy some seats at the 50 yd. line & we enjoyed watching our Dawgs play even in the dreary weather. Sadler & the younger Dawg, drove nearly 4 hours down from No. Carolina. Now these are some true Dawg fan folks; you gotta respect em' for that. I just made the easy drive from the South metro ATL area. Anyways, I really hope more of us dawgs.com folks can meet up at some point in what will hopefully be a real magical season in Athens, GA.
