wlayton, we could and should have won the NC last year with OUR talent. Let's not sell ourselves short. We WERE the best team in the country last year. Period. Forget money. Watch the tape.

I agree that we were the best team in the country from the Florida game forward. The game in Knoxville was a debacle but was a needed wakeup call for the team and coaches.
I think we got our act together for '08.

dapolla, I too believe we were the best team in the country and that we could have whipped LSU, OSU, USC, OU....anybody!! I was just doing a bad job of joking about \"Spanky's\" mental abilities.

Agree whole heartedly with you averagedawg, this was a different team and coaching staff after the debacle in Knoxville. The hurt from that game woke everyone up and these young \"dawgs\" realized just how good they could be. You are totally right on the wakeup call statement.
