Les Miles cashes in.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

It’s a Monday morning, Georgia has just won the SEC basketball tournament, and the college football world never ceases to entertain us. Let us count the ways:

1. Who says there is no sense of humor in college football? Les Miles’ new contract says he must be no worse than the third highest-paid coach in college football. LSU officials decided to resolve the issue by making him the highest paid coach in the SEC by paying him exactly $1,000 more than Nick Saban’s $3.75 million at Alabama. So unless something changes, Miles will always make more than Saban as long as he’s at LSU. Given the obvious tension between those two men, that move was a clear poke in the ribs to Saban and had to make for a fun weekend in the football offices in Tuscaloosa.

Miles needs an agent to work his deals........ he can't count past 100. Actually don't believe he can even read a digital scoreboard, just ask his offensive coordinator!!

Here you have a coach that is in a state that is having tremendous difficulties in the aftermath of Katrina. A coach that is worried about being the highest paid in the SEC, and third in the nation. I am along in years and never, ever, have I seen such arrogance in a coach in college football. Pros, could be expected, college . . . not my idea of what the game is all about. Beginning to think that this guy is worse than PEP. Could say a lot more, will stop. Go Dawgs, thanks Coach Richt.

Hey Buc, we could have won the NC with their talent last year.....and for 1/10th of his pay. The guy gets up in the morning and doesn't have a clue what day it is until he opens his morning newspaper (assuming he doesn't get it mixed up with yesterday's paper)
