Georgia Three Deep was created by Buc
I spent a good portion of last evening looking over the UGA roster and the incoming class. It truly is hard not to get totally bent out of shape with the athletes that CMR and his group have assembled at UGA.
Of particular interest to me was the number of players that got a lot of playing time as freshmen and sophomores this past season. Not just in the game because we are far ahead, but meaningful minutes in tight situations. That to me shows the true value of CMR and the rest of the coaching staff. It also means so much on the recruiting trail. UGA can reach out to the high school athletes, not only telling them that they might play, it is all there on film. What a super tool in the war that is now referred to as recruiting.
Anyway, I checked every player at every position and it is really impressive. This edition of UGA football could easily go three deep at every position and I am not sure that there is a drop off. Never in my years of following UGA have I seen anything that comes close to this.
It becomes a problem only if the wrong attitude happens to show its ugly face regarding playing time. This is where coaching truly becomes a premium, and I witnessed some of that elite coaching when Ward decided to head back to the West Coast. Not only did the coaching staff wish him well, most of the fans responded the same way. That is class, in my opinion.
My wish for this upcoming edition of the Dawgs is that they stay focused, which I have mentioned before, but truly mean it. The talent is on the campus, get a good education and become a part of history. We all know we are in for the fight of our lives with the upcoming schedule, however, I see that as a plus. This group of athletes and coaches have history staring them in the face. I do not think that there will be a let down with this group, from CMR all the way to the incoming frosh.
One last note, can you imagine Knowshon and Caleb in the same backfield with Stafford and the receivers that we have this year running their patterns. Scary . . . . Go Dawgs!

Hey Buc, agree with everything you said except one.......saying that the offense might be \"scary\" is a gross UNDERSTATEMENT. Ain't it great to be a DAWG!!

wlayton, have to agree with you again. Also, you probably have read this, if not, scope it out. This young man is from my area. Hoping he gets a chance to return some punts or kickoffs. Just very exciting and does not like to go down. Plays with an attitude.

Guys I am so excited it's hard to contain myself. Talent AND depth.
All is for naught without proper guidance and we have that too. Who wouldn't want to make history as a player on the greatest college football program in the world.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
