Does this old heart good to see that the people on this site are respectful, never doubted it from all of the previous threads and posts that I have read. The site that booted me to the curb I know had to watch how certain pieces of information are relayed, and they are owned by the ownership of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Let me say this . . . I have been a UGA man for too many years to count. I was one of the original Atlanta Falcon supporters, and I mean supporter. When Fulton County Stadium was being built, I was in the Advertising/Graphic Arts business in Atlanta. I hung with the Falcons until 1981, and at that point had become so fed up with the Rankin Smith and family way of running the franchise, that I pulled a Petrino of sorts. I moved to Central Florida and became a booster of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Much to my dismay, there was an owner here by the name of Hugh Culverhouse. Even worse than Rankin Smith, hard to believe. Rankin would spend money, Culverhouse left the face of the earth with the first and last penny he ever made.
The reason that I bring up the above remarks are . . . so many of the folks that are aware of the facts on Jerramy Stevens are talking about how he should be given another chance. The girl that was supposedly raped by JS and reported by the Seattle newspaper will not be given another chance to regain her virginity.
Football is really getting out of hand, and if these young men are going to be allowed chance after chance with no meaningful correction imposed on them, well, we as season ticket holders and purchasers of products that are being aired through these different outlets that support these programs . . . are feeding the monster.
Thanks again for all that read the article, know that it was long, but some things all of us should be aware of. A special thanks to Steve for letting this article remain on this site. HIGH FIVES TO SADLERDAWG, STEVE AND ALL OF YOU FOLKS. GO DAWGS!
