Final Standings

It is a guarantee now that three of the four teams ranked ahead of the Dawgs in the bcs will lose their bowl game. With that said and the way this sytem works we should be ranked behind two of those three, WVU and KU when the final standings come out. Be prepared to grease it up before the computers stick it!

We should be ranked #2 at the end of the year in the BCS and in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll behind whoever wins the National SHAMpionship game. If the AP voters have ANY guts whatsoever, given our performance and the fact that we're #4 in their poll, we should get at least a few first-place votes. If they've really been watching football for the last three months, we'll get the majority of the first-place votes and win the AP NC.

What SHOULD happen and what will happen are two different things. I agree, we are playing better than any other team right now. Look for us to get shafted. I am equally interested in our preseason ranking, I feel we deserve to be No.1, if not, who is? Cosidering the idiots who vote, I'm not holding my breath. Did you see the last coaches poll, some idiot voted Hawaii No.1. Hah.

It will be like this:

If LSU wins NC:

1. LSU
2. UGA
3. USC
4. Ohio State
5. Kansas

If Ohio State wins NC:

1. Ohio State
2. UGA
3. USC
4. Kansas
5. West Virginia

(LSU would be out of top five with 3 losses)

I agree with you about getting shafted and hope GatorinGa's rankings are correct. I believe they will still put USC ahead of us...always do!!
