No, I don't like it on any teams helmets.
I remeber when I was around 12 years old a watching the Gators play with my dad. I asked him what all the \"UF\" logo stikers were for on the back of the helmets. When he told me, I thought it was silly. And 30 years later, I still do!
So it was the Gators' helmets I first noticed it on back around 1980. So no, not the Dawgs. As stated, I am pretty sure everyone copied it from the Buckeyes anyway.

Averagedawg, just what do you think the Gators did before the game? I can tell you that they did what they always do. Jump up and down and in their own space. Heck, the Dawgs do their silly circle dance and hands to their helmets thing before a game so why can't the Gators do the thing they always do? Its just that Michigan didn't like it very much.

The radio show guy here said that the Gators jumped on the Michigan logo, didn't see it, only heard about. If I'm mistaken,my apologies.

It's OK, I'm sure everyone can interpret these things differently.
I have seen the footage that was not shown on TV. The Gators went out to mid-field (so it was the Capitol One logo) and started jumping. About 15 Michigan players walked over to meet them and of course the jawing started.

In any course, it didn't help the Gators at all did it?

Unfortunately not. SEC fans are like family. We hate each other during conference play, but come bowl time, we stick together.

As much as I hate Auburn, I cheered so loud when they won the Peach Bowl in OT.
