AINA, here is hoping that you will stay in touch with this board. Good folks from opposing teams can sometimes be hard to find, what with all of the garbage talk that goes on. There are a few posters here that are \"regulars\" but support other schools as their #1. After a post like the one you just entered, I choose to adopt you to the \"Dawg Nation\". Feel sure that others on here will as well. Classy post, classy fans, will pay a lot more attention to Hawaii in the future. . . .

I am no football follower by any means, but did catch the game yesterday. I'm not going to follow this board after this loss dies down only because I'm ignorant when it comes to all of this stuff.

But I respect your team greatly and had to give you top honors and registered to your board just to tell you. Much respect to you and your team that steamrolled over us.

i was hoping to go to the game and meet some islanders myself but could not attend the game this year. Brennan shows he is a hell of an athlete. He still wanted to play at the end of the game and he could not. i think howard hurt his hand in the 3rd qtr. The returning team next year will have more ideas on how to get to an sec team when they play fla in the opener. everyone on UH was okay except #29, they needed to eject him from the game. i hope the $$ made by the bowl trip will help with recruiting and facilities. me personally would love to live on the island for a couple of years. best of luck next year guys!!!

ps, i honestly think they should have switched the rose and sugar opponents. illini and UH would have been a close one, same for uga and usc. my opinion though.

I am glad to see the Hawaii crowd back. I respect them and their team. The truth is things are just different down here. Football is part of the very fabric of society, It is more important than most anything else.
