Is the entire SEC jealous of Tim Tebow - or what?

should be a helluva collision. Tebow probably doesn't know anything about the guy that TD hit a couple years ago. Just all the TN, LSU, Bama and Auburn big guys that he fell over getting a few extra yards.

Would love to see that type of collision, but I've heard the same thing (" not OUR linebackers") on 6 diff boards this year, but he keeps falling forward.

I'm not a gator fan, but just a fan of Tebow cuz he's talented and class and 18 going on 28. Would love to see the collision you describe - at least once at some point this year.

secsec, I totally agree with you. He's going to be a great one and a great kid as well, from a good family. Next few years in the SEC at qb is going to interesting with Tebow, Stafford and Mustain.

OK,
I can't resist the chance to play devils advocate to wlayton. Tim Tebow is a good kid by all acounts. He seems very nice and his family seems very nice. But, he bailed out on his teammates at Trinity to play for Nease. I say play for because as a home schooled kid he did not attend Nease much. How a kid who does not attend the school gets to play football for them is beyond me. I know that rule is county specific but it does not make sense. Either way bailing on your teammates to go to a higher profile program seems selfish to me.

I live in St. Aug (well technically the WGV) and took great joy in watching St Aug. beat Nease and Tebow. I guess he has always been a rival QB to me. I was glad he went to UF so I could still root against him. I have a soft spot in my heart for Bama because I lived in the very western part of Georgia for awhile and remember when Bear died. I am sure he is a great kid and a great family, but rivals are rivals. I wish him well every day of the year except those saturdays late in october.

Do the Tebows even live in St. Johns county? I know of people who buy a condo in PVB to get an address and send their kids to our schools. I am just asking because I do not know. It is a great idea really.

Hey kentdaddy, have you ever heard of Valdosta High School football? Tebow's situation is nothing compared to Valdosta football. Years ago if there was a great player in another city in Georgia, they would get his father a better job in Valdosta just to get the family to move there so he could play for the Wildcats (guess that's why they won so many championships). Listen, just because I think Tebow is a great kid etc, I don't want him to win a game as long as he plays for florida !!!!!! When he goes to the next level, then I'll pull for him. Thought the same about Wuerful (sp?) when he was at uf. Didn't want him to win a game either but didn't change the FACT that he was a great college qb and a better person !!.

I cannot disagree. I really respect Wuerful after all the late hits he took against FSU and did not complain one bit. It showed a lot of character. I agree about Valdosta. I remember their High School coach had a TV show before most college coaches did. The whole rivalry down soith w/ Lowndes and Colquit is no joke. I am sure the coaches at Nease had some influence. I still do not think home schooled kids should play for a public school if they do not attend. It is too mercenary for me.

By all accounts Tebow is a great kid. I wish him well in 3 to 4 years. I wish him heart ache beyond belief 7 days from now.
