I'll amuse everybody here though and take an upset pick, Mississippi State. Sly Croom has em' playing smart, physical football

I like this pick, too. I would definitely include them as a sleeper. I like the program Sly is building. Tough run defense, control the ball on offense, don't make mistakes.

Besides that, I like the fact that it has to gall Bama fans a little bit that they went for the gazillion dollar ego in Saban while passing over Croom, who they should have hired. Croom winning the West next year would be poetic.

GATA! Woof!

LSU. They are still loaded, even with their grad losses. Bama will be better, but not quite ready, and Auburn, no matter how good they are defensively, will be learning a new offense (spread option, what else?) under their new OC from Troy State. For those of you who may or may not know, Al Borges was just forced out as the OC at Auburn. I think AU will have to have more time than Spring and Fall practices to learn that new-fangled spread option before they tear the conference up.
