I feel the same way.... bring back Van Gorder! I posted a willie martinez needs to go topic right after the UT game and I've felt that way since last year (maybe the year before) when LSU gave us the blue print on how to beat Florida by blitzing Chris Leak. So we come out against Fla with no blitz or pressure what so ever. Once again... Willie needs to go!!!!!!
Seriously I thought Martinez was a problem last year in the Sugar Bowl. When someone hangs 28 on you in the 1st half something is a miss.
Plus when White and Slaton were running it down our throats why didnt we stack the box. Id prefer for White to beat us with his arm as opposed to getting out muscled on the line.
I'm a GSU alum and if Van Gorder doesn't tone down his arrogant/cocky attitude and start winning some ball games they are going to run him out of Statesboro anyway.
Too much read and react, and not enough attack. Martinez fails to make the proper adjustments after the half, and that's what is killing us. There also isnt a leader on the defensive squad as there has been in the past.
