Regarding your question about St. Louis. In recent years, Kahuku have been running the table, but St. Louis, Kamehameha, and most of the other private school teams are \"up there\" with Kahuku too.

Being skipped by LSU for the title was a big issue. I remember the UGA coach saying on an interview on ESPN that there should be a rule: If a team does not win it's conference, it should not be eligible to play for the national title, so teams such as UGA would not get heartbroken. He also said UGA might \"blackout\" the Superdome at the SB.

Mayor Mufi Hannemann and Athens, Ga. Mayor Heidi Davison today agreed to a friendly Sugar Bowl wager.
Should UH beat Georgia in the Jan. 1 Sugar Bowl, Davison will send some Georgia peaches. Should Georgia win, Hannemann will ship over some fresh pineapple.
