Hypothetical Bowl Results

Florida will definitely come in at #1 next year. They've got about nine million blue chip recruits, their defense will be more mature, and the snivellers will remind us ad nauseum that Tebow's shoulder and hand are healthy now. I think your national championship game next year takes place in Jacksonville that last weekend in October. I'm making no predictions except that whoever wins the Cocktail Party next year wins it all.

That said, here's my personal ranking for next year:

1) Florida (sorry, but it's true)
2) Georgia
3) Oklahoma (Sam Bradford is the real deal)
4) USC (yes, they'll be back next year)
5) toss-up.

Hypothetical may be the right word for this discussion now (unless hyporidiculous is more accurate), but what the heck, we've got over two weeks before some good bowl games start...

Surely USC and OK have got to be on top to begin next yr w/ Booty and Bradford returning with their usual suspects of returning lettermen and top flight recruits. I would think LSU will drop somewhat due to their loss of Dorsey, Flynn, etc. No doubt their recruits will be excellent but not the absolute cream.

To me that would appear to put GA & FL next in line around 4,5 & 6. It doesn't really matter exactly where in those slots to start the season. We know that both GA & the lizzards have a great cast of returning performers and THE CREAM of the recruiting field. Although FL's recruits won't rank as high as GA's, they will score well after all is said and done. I don't know who else in the SEC can be expected to rise TOWARD the top. LSU, Auburn, UT, KY will be losing too many key players. Look for Alabama to excel behind GA/FL next year (not in rankings, but in performance on the field).
