Hypothetical Bowl Results was created by DawgSpeare
Let us postulate that all the favorites of the five major bowls win their games, and there are no blow outs.
LSU beats OSU; USC over IL (shocking!); OK downs WVU; UGA drills HI; VT beats KU.
What will the final rankings be?
Probable: 1)LSU 2)USC 3)OK 4)VT 5)GA
And 2008's preseason rankings will be about like this:
1)USC 2)OK 3)LSU 4)GA 5)UF

I think the 2008 preseason rankings will be:
1.) USC - John David Booty is back and the media swings from Peter Carrol, et al's balls.
2.) Georgia - Even though it's appropriate for us to be ranked here, they rank us this high while holding their noses and hoping we slip up early, as a consolation for what happened with the BCS this year.
3.) Florida - The collective voice of the cult of Superman (read ESPN, NBC, ABC, etc) believes that with a defense and a healthy shoulder against Georgia, Florida is a national title contender.
4.) Kansas - Tim Reesing is back and another great season is sure to follow.
5.) West Virginia - Pat White's back.
6.) Missouri - Chase Daniel is back.
7.) The Ohio State University, simply because the commandments of preseason polls stipulate they must be ranked in the top 10.

Unfortunately, they will not ever EVER put us that high. Here's the ranking:
1) Florida
2) USC
3) Oklahoma
4) Georgia
5) West Virginia
That's a lock. Revisit it come August. You'll see I'm right.
