While I don't have a problem with differing opinions, these two statements did tend to bother me a bit. I feel sure that it was a \"fumble\" on your part, as we all slip on occasion and say things that we wish we had not. If we were talking about one or two \"whiney butts\" maybe this would be a point well taken. However, this seems to be on every sports channel, and most newsprint across the nation. Guess some just have a clearer view of the \"facts\" than others. Go Dawgs!

Exactly, wlayton--that is my beef. We were 6th after we beat GT, and LSU and KU lost and we moved up to 4th, which is realistic if they planned on following that trend of moving teams up. I personally was surprised that we were 4th Sunday. I actually figured LSU would stay ahead of us, and after VT beat UVa, I thought they might move ahead too, and we would have stayed 6th, and I would have been happy. But since they had no intention of letting us play in the NC game under any circumstances, they should not have put us in a position to do so by moving us up.

I also agree.
I was shocked when LSU was ranked behind UGA last week. LSU has beaten higher ranked teams and their 2 losses were not as bad a UGA's. LSU should have been 4 and UGA 5. But.... that's not what the polls stated last week, so either, the polls corrected a mistake or UGA got screwed.
I also agree that its OK to vent ... for now.

The national media is already calling the Sugar Bowl the most compelling matchup this year. so that's a positive anyway. BTW, vegas has UGA a 11 pnt. favorite so far.

GatorinGa, those rankings would have been PERFECT after what has happened. LSU at #4 and UGA at #5 would have been fine last week and would have saved a lot of anger and BCS embarrassment (well some).

OK, we all know there is no logic to this system. All we can do is buckle up the chinstraps and kick some rainbow butt.
We'll be ready, I can assure you.
