Thanks, BCS

Let's put a positive spin on this and I'm certain iDawg can help with this one. I know differently as I have now lived in Louisiana on the Northshore for almost a year, but there are still many horrible mindsets and idealogies about the city of New Orleans out there. My worst fear is that many Dawg fans are somewhat hesitant to make the trip into the city for this bowl game and support CMR and the boys while they spank the livin' $hit out of Hawaii. On many posts, blogs articles and even fellow Dawgs I have spoken to there is concern and fear for their own well-being in NO and their decision to come is being based on this. Perhaps iDawg, myself and any others who are familiar with the area can put some minds at ease and also let others know of decent safe hotels to stay in, where to go while visiting and also where to get a chance to sample some of the greatest food in the world(and only a local can give you that true experience).

Screw LSfag by 6 and let's move on to encourage our band of Dawg brothers to visit this city and have a damn good time while here. There are plenty of accomodations that are safe here. Hell, from what I hear the Qaurter is ten times cleaner and nicer to visit now than it ever was. This area needs bowl games and BCS championship games to bring people, money and revenue into the area more than it ever has. Let's cut the crap, help each other out and if we happen to come across this LSU fan that swallowed his Funk and Wagnall we'll kick the crap out of him. As mentioned before we are all on the same team here, right...
