I would imagine the Dawgs will use all three QBs, and the "D" will pound ULM into submission. Believe all 1st and 2nd teamers will see plenty of playing time.

stevedawg, if nothing else, the early game is when different player favorites will get to play.

Has been mentioned before, time to allow some or many of those players get some experience.

Much of the conversation thus far has been about the quarterback position, however this will probably be a time to check the offensive line play out.

If it were me as a sideline coach would get a feeling for the center position. Understand that Kublanow is being given a lot of the time at snapping the ball, would like to see Isaiah Wynn and the shotgun snap. Long I feel sure will get playing time, trying to look further down the road with Wynn.

As a guess about the warmup, would go something like this . . . .

Might see "wholesale changes" on the offensive line and the quarterback position. Meaning "units" of players exchanging time on the field, not single substitutions.

Really want to see our punting game on display. Know that most want to see touchdowns, but down the road, better have a punter or . . . . we ain't playing SEC football the way it has to be played. JMHO.

Edit . . . . Just read your post growl, looking at the timeline, we were both punching keys and thinking the same thoughts . . . . what's new . . . .

The first thing I will be looking for is if we come out an look flat or are they fired up an take control of the game from the first play till the last.


I wonder it Tae will play or be red shirted.

Ramsey will start at QB.

Chubb will play the first half.

MM 26 really want to see what he does.

The kicking game will be watching that for sure.

Defense will be kind of plan don't think CJP an company will show a lot but there will be plenty to come expect the QB for LM will be glad when it's over.

Offense. Vanilla. Same on defense we get a road game a week later that we can touch the gas pedal a wee bit. Then get ready to stomp the chickens. No sandstorm this year.
