Since when does the moral character and/or general attitude matter at this level???? I mean the
bottom line is can the guy coach!!?!!

Over the years I have developed a couple of friendships from the Wisconsin area. In my opinion, Wisconsin fans are closer to the way football is played in the SEC than others in that conference. They are very in tune with the Packers, and that has flowed over to college football.

Watched the game against LSU, was big time impressed with Wisconsin's offensive line. That line is loaded with "nasties". They are a good football team, capable of kicking urban Meyer's butt.

Also watched UCF and Penn State. Heck of a game, like Franklin or not, he will stand tall against urban meyer. Has a serious recruiting year going on now for 2015.

wlayton, I believe this. At some point those "outside" of the SEC have to make a shift from the way they have played the game, forever.

Lots was said about urban meyer prior to landing in Florida. urban meyer who I have described as a "carpet bagger" several times on this board, came to the South and filled his bags just as was done back in the day.

He and his staff are roaming all over the South trying to land the talent that is here. Spending as much or more of his/their time below the Mason/Dixon than above the line. urban meyer found out quickly that college football is a "staple" in the South. His only chance of winning big time in "that B1G conference" depends on his/their success in recruiting in the area that produces D1 football players.

What some of those folks in Ohio don't realize, urban "liar" meyer burned many bridges in Florida. Left the door open for Jimbo Fisher to control the State of Florida for years to come. Jeremy Foley is more than aware. Lots of conversation about the damage done by the "liar".

Sometimes those that rise to the top, fall quickly, that happened to Florida . . . . urban got sick and had to leave. M&M/ESPN are trying really hard to prop the "gangsta coach up".
