Yeah, my son and I were eating downtown watching the TV for updates and man, as happy as we were for beating UK, we were completely depressed heading back to the hotel after Vandy BLEW IT !!

One thing to think about--maybe not finishing the drill against UT is just what this team needed to be in the position it is now. Coach Richt has said that game and the lackluster performance against Vandy is what forced him to look for some motivational tools to get the team fired up. In other words, had we beaten UT, the UF game, as well as the rest of the season, would have taken on a different look and feel, and we probably wouldn't be in the position we are now, because we may have lost to UF and AU. Maybe I'm just rationalizing, but it helps me accept it a little better.

You're probably right sadlerdawg....the events of this year may have just put a \"new face\" on the way CMR coaches and motivates this team and future teams. All for the better IMO.

That's what I'm thinking. Any loss sucks, and I hate to \"justify\" them, but the UT loss will probably help UGA teams for years to come. Coach Richt's new attitude should continue to attract recruits.
