We COULD still play for the national title

WV still has 2 games to play. The reason I said I didn't mind LSU losing today was because we may need them to lose AND may have to beat them in the SECCG before we can be ranked ahead of them. Even though they lost today, they still may be ranked ahead of us (probably will be).

I cannot fathom how anyone would rank LSU ahead of us now given how they have played and we have played.

I agree with you kentdaddy, I think we are playing better than anybody in the SEC and as good as anybody in the country. But LSU's 2 losses were in overtime and we lost to USC and blown out by UT. Think the voters and the computer will factor that in.

Actually kentdaddy, I do like the idea of LSU winning today so if we didn't beat them in the SECCG at least we would have a SEC team playing for the NC !!

I've very nearly over-dosed on college football in the past couple of weeks (please don't ask my wife for a definition of nearly). Being as honest and objective as I can possibly be I don't think anyone is playing better football right now than the Dawgs.

The freakish thing is that either Kansas or Missouri could be ranked #1 after tomorrow. I've followed Big 8/12 football my whole life (46 years old) and I never in my wildest dreams imagined that either of them would ever be ranked #1 in football.

just so everyone knows i am 2 for 2 on my predictions for georgia playing in BCS National championship game! If the rest of my weekend goes the way the last two days have gone, Georgia should be number 3 by 2 oclock Sunday...Everyone around hear thinks I am nutts because I have told them Georgia can still play for national chmpionship. I have a lot of Tennesee idiots around me that are crying that they are better than UGA and they deserve to play in the SEC championship game.. TOld them to go ahead play in it because Arkansas will beat LSU and why should we haveto play them to get to national championship game. Let UT play them and Georgia can ride the easy train with Ohio State to the big game. Everyone thinks I am nuts but so far I am 2 for 2.
