Agree, both should be on the watch next year, Moreno will probably be ranked higher. Still, look at the list of the last 10 Heisman winners. It ain't what it used to be. Palmer, C. Woodson, & Bush are the only 3 on the list who've had decent NFL careers thus far. C. Weinke, E. Crouch, & J. White should be forced to return their trophy. Talk about QBs benefitting from loaded offensive teams. Anyways, I always thought the Heisman was supposed to go to the best CF player in the nation, PERIOD. Somewhere along the way, it started going to the best player on the best team. I hate that it's gone this way but that's the world of CF today.
Totally agree!
Well, I don't agree on the NFL success connection though as they are two different sports. But you are right that now a days it must be a QB or RB and on a top 1 or 2 or 3 team.
But next year will be great to see the top of the watch list loaded with SEC players.
Especially if McFadden does not leave for the NFL.
Mareno, definately.
Stafford, absolutely impossible!
He's good, just not Heisman good. You have to be the best player on your your own team before you can be considered for anything else.
