Bobo 1 , Muschamp 0

Here is were it all comes to light, I have continued to question MB's play calling throughout the season, So instead, This week I will not. The fact that Muschamp is a great D.C. and his star is rising goes without say, However I think this one will go to Mike. This is a statement he made to downplay it (\"We're playing Auburn, not playing Will Muschamp,\") but I think he knows that to really stretch AU's defense and test WM, will do wonders for the confidence of his offense as well as himself. In light of the fact that they were teammates and Will was the senior of the two kind of puts MB in a position to show up a friend and send the signal that WM is on the wrong bench! Go MIKE, Go Dawgs!

From an earlier post. This was a great one for Mike, I have to say especially with the throwback pass from Knowshon, That really shows his growing confidence in his team and his play calling.Go Mike, Go Dawgs forever! Next time can we get the black britches too CMR? Thats motivation for the entire Dawg Nation!

Nice post.

I must say, I was anticipating a closer contest. I really thought that last year was a fluke in terms of our scoring. But 45 points (65 total!) later, I must be wrong. I guess we can just score more points than the other team...yeah?

FOUR INTERCEPTIONS!!! I dunno...in the \"Willie vs. Will\" argument, how good does CWM look right now? Sacking Tebow 6 times and intercepting Cox 4 times? Not bad at all.

I feel like saying \"I told you so\" but I won't... or did I...

I think DCWM is going to be a fine coach. Any time you have someone step up into a coordinator or HC position there is going to be some learning curve. There are also going to be games that, for whatever reason, the OC/DC's unit isn't going to perform. Bad matchups, injuries, etc. It happens. But I think if us Dawg fans will just be jes a lil patient with DCWM and OCMB they are both going to be very good.

I said before the season and I've seen nothing this year to make me change my mind, I believe with all my heart that HCMR is going to win an MNC. Maybe pretty doggone soon.

dapolla, cannot disagree with the results at all. Those are real good stats against two bona-fide top notch teams. There seems to be those that say Tebow was hurt when he played UGA. Can't accept that as an excuse, if that is an excuse. You put the uniform on, no excuses. Noticed in the Florida game that we \"opened\" up from the get go, defense was not the same defense that we had watched earlier in the season.

Noticed against Auburn that we did play some Tampa 2 (cover 2) at the beginning of the game, and some thereafter. However, noticed that we were keeping 7 sometimes 8 in the box, not living in the 2 the whole game. Cox is by no means a Tebow, running or passing. If you can't throw the ball effectively, sure screws with the running game, as we all know. Two different teams, and without a doubt, two different QB's.

My problem with Coach WM (WAS) that he was not showing any signs of changing up the defense. I realize that we have a lot of young folks on that side of the ball, same can be said for the offense. I believe that a lot of pressure was brought to the surface after the Tennessee game. Know that coaches like to say that they don't read the news clippings, same for the players, just not true. Might be wrong, but believe that CMR had a serious meeting with himself and knew that changes were needed. He now is the overall coach of the football team, not just calling plays. He said himself that he had to concentrate on staying in the game when he was wearing the \"offensive head phones\". As we all have witnessed since the Florida game Coach Richt has become a \"mad man\" and I am truly enjoying the change in his personality. Personally, I never want to go through another game like we witnessed in Knoxville. We quit. I have been a part of the Dawg Nation for over a half century, and I like what I am seeing now.

Sorry to be so long winded, what can I say . . . . that is me. I have great respect for you and your opinions, and grew closer to you when you grabbed the \"outlaw\" by the tail that was badgering the board and put the absolute \"Dawg Smack\" on his evil butt. You kicked his butt and have not seen him back since. Every board needs those that \"protect\" the sentiments of the established group.

One last word . . . . . CM impressed me in the Auburn game, on the sidelines when he grabbed one of his players coming off of the field after a good stand and ran down the sidelines with his arm around him. That is something that ERK would have done, maybe even butted his bald head against the players helmet. He did that often during warmups many, many years ago. Little blood and guts never bothered ERK. Never bothered me. . . . . Go Dawgs!

Did not see this posted today. Know that a lot of folks read the AJC, will post this for whatever it is worth . . . . Writer also picked Auburn to beat UGA.

Mark Richt has tapped into Erk Russell

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Five things we learned over the weekend:

1. Mark Richt has tapped into Erk Russell: For my money, the late Erk Russell was the best motivator of college football players who ever lived. Coach Russell knew how long a college football season is for players and that every now and then they needed a little something “extra” to get an edge for a big game. Richt has done that twice for Georgia’s players and the Bulldogs have rewarded him with vintage efforts against Florida and Auburn. It is part of Mark Richt’s maturation into a great head coach.

DawgPost.com: How successful to you think the University of Georgia Football program will be under Coach Mark Richt's leadership?

Coach Russell: I have not known Coach Richt very long, but I've been extremely impressed with him during the time I have known him. He was kind enough to invite me to speak to his team during spring practice and I really enjoyed doing that.

I think Coach Richt has the Georgia program on the right track and I think he will be a very good head coach. He has and will have good players at Georgia. He possesses a special way of meeting people and making them feel good about themselves. He seems to be a good organizer and a good disciplinarian. However, it's hard to envision him having as much success as the Georgia fans expect him to. After all, his teams are only supposed to win every game they play. That's very difficult to do.

Someone recently asked Coach Richt how long it would take his teams to beat Florida, and he replied, 'About four quarters if we play well.' I thought that was a great answer.
