That's what I'm talking about DawgSpeare! Watch out SEC! If the DAWGS can land some of these big HOGS up front, we will annually be a favorite to play in the GA Dome & beyond!

Said it before Mark is a hell of a recruiter:
Commitments...................
RB: Richard Samuel
RB: Dontavius Jackson
RB: Xavier Avery
RB: Carlton Thomas

Even with Knowshon tearing it up and Calib King ready too. How do you continuously get top RB's with an already deep roster? Amazing..........

My guess is that Richard Samuel will end up playing LB unless he proves to be the second coming of Herschel. From what I've read, Dontavius Jackson is the true prototype RB. Sounds like Avery and Thomas are more like small speedsters. With their talent though, they will undoubtedly find a place to help the team.

Yes, it sounds like Massie (6'8\" and 875 lbs [or whatever]) would be quite a catch. I am thinking (once again, you have to realize that someone who is borderline retard [me] doesn't do this a lot) along this line...Here I am, a senior in H.S. I have offers from 6 or 8 schools; I have size, talent and speed (what position? any position). I have narrowed my choices down to say 3 or 4 schools. I turn my attention to UGA. Let's see, what do I like about UGA? Their program is top notch, they have facilities, stadium size, good coaching w/ a family atmosphere, good tradition, good academics, etc., etc. They don't seem to be short in any of those areas.

What about the team? They haven't been competing for NC, but they seem to be on the rise with their program. It looks like they may be ready to break through that barrier (we'll call it the NCCB, meaning the National Championship Competition Barrier) during the next two years. The NCCB is the point at which a program expects to and does consistently place itself in the top ten poll rankings on a yearly or almost yearly basis, and often finds itself ranked in the top 5. To me, all you can ask for is to be ranked in the top 5. Once you get into the top 5, you have possibilities of a NC. Right now as I look at UGA I see quite a dynamic team. I don't see a run-oriented offense or a pass-oriented offense; rather, I see balance. That's attractive to me as a RB, a WR, a TE or an OL. On defense, I see room for growth and improvement. All other things being equal, I like what I see here at UGA; I'm committing to the Dawgs!
