Dawg3447, you could be closer than the rest of us. One thing that appears to have evolved w/ the continued development of UGA's offense this year, is the emergence of the big play. The big play is what UF lives on. With a big play offense, a team can win a game on two or three plays and be outplayed for most of the game. Florida has done that a number of times to teams.
All teams (except maybe Notre Dame, lol) have one or two big plays during the course of a game or two games. But some teams have the talent, the nerve and the ability to actually expect the big play four, five or six times a game (especially on offense). UF is again, one of the best examples I can think of; WV, ARK are others that come to mind. UGA appears to be evolving into this dynamic, dangerous, big-play, non-neanderthal creature! BUT, with the advantage of maintaining the ability to make the long drive as well.
But unlike UF, the Dawgs have better offensive balance, and their playmakers are less concentrated. By that I mean, we have fewer superstars (we have no superstars at the moment, although at the present rate of improvement, Moreno could become one by end of year or next); our playmakers are greater in number than say, a team like UF or WV or ARK; UGA's playmakers are more distributed throughout its offense (Moreno, Stafford, Brown, MoMass, Bailey, Goodman, Henderson, Chandler, Taylor). Over the long haul, UGA's situation is more beneficial, more productive than the aformentioned programs. Or so it seems to me.
