I would like to see dawgs in black

The last time we wore anything black was during a Ga/Fla game during the Donnan regime. We wore black pants and red tops. As best as I can remember, we got our a$$es handed to us. I think Quitsey Carter played one of his worst games ever in a UGA uniform.....not that ANY performance of his was anything to brag about while he was here. Let's just stick with tradition, and to hell with gimmicks needed to fire up a team. As Lewis Grizzard used to say about his experiences with sports while working in Chicago........\"It was hard to get worked up over Ohio State vs Michigan when I knew the Dawgs were at home vs Auburn.\" Enough sed. If you can't get worked up for Auburn when your team is still in contention to play in Atlanta for the title, then you can't get worked up for ANY game. Now, as far as the fans wearing black, well, I'm all for that......but dont mess with the unis.

Not to say the artist rendition of the black jerseys didn't look cool. I just don't want to ever become the laughing stock of the SEC. Look at Oregon and all the crazy mess they do with there uniforms. Simple is good. The fans, short for fanatic. We are allowed to become crazy as a fat kid with a twinkie. If we do that, the team will feed off of us. Which in turn we feed off of them. So on and so forth. Till Auburn starts to cry, Muschamp realizes he needs to come back home and the world is right again.

You know, I think the blck jerseys would be VERY cool on us, the fans but not on the players. Guess I'm too old school when it comes to tradition. AND if you remember, when CMR 1st got here, he reinstituted that UGA tradition immediately. Silver britches only and took the stupid black stripes off the helmets.
