Agreed, wlayton, if not red, then white. No black, please, except from the fans.

well if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. and if it will somehow spark our team to another victory, then black it is. sometimes, outside influences help. it can play on the mind and be a positive thing in the end. that's why i say, personally i don't care. but as a traditionalist when it comes to georgia football, i hope it's only a one time thing. (besides, right now this is only a rumor anyways,)

I think there is some kind of rule in the SEC that sez home teams can't wear the white jerseys........unless you are LSU, I suppose. Maybe we should wear white if we could get by with it....after all. we usually beat AU whenever we wear the white shirts....as the away team, that is.

White Jerseys — LSU is the only college football teams that wears white jerseys for home games. The tradition started in 1958, when Coach Paul Dietzel decided that LSU would wear white jerseys for the home games. LSU went on to win the national championship that year. Since then, LSU continued to wear white jerseys at home games. Then in 1982, new NCAA rules prohibited teams from wearing white jerseys at home. Because of this, LSU wore purple jerseys during home games from 1983 to 1994. In 1995, LSU's new coach, Gerry DiNardo, was determined to restore LSU's tradition of white home jerseys.
