Tidbit Info on the Auburn War

Okay, last one....here's a joke you may have already heard...

Four football fans go rock climbing one afternoon: An Alabama fan, an
Auburn fan, a Tennessee fan, and a Georgia fan. They had been arguing
all the way up the mountain about who among them was the most die hard fan.

Upon reaching the top of the mountain, the Tennessee fan proclaimed to
the other three, \"This is for the Volunteers!\" and promptly threw himself
off the mountains as a form of sacrifice, screaming Rocky Top as he fell to
his death.

Not to be outdone by the Tennessee fan, the Alabama fan jumped up and
Shouted, \"This is for the CRIMSON TIDE!\" and threw himself off the mountain
screaming \"Roll Tide Roll!\" as he crashed on the rocks below.

Refusing to be outdone by the Tennessee and Alabama fans, the Georgia
fan rose to his feet and yelled at the top of his lungs, \"This is for the
DAWGS!\" and without hesitation, pushed the Auburn fan off the
mountain, shouting - -
\"Fly War Eagle Fly!\"

Terrific series of posts...GooseDawg78, I can see you sitting there next to your sister on the beanbags...what memories. Boy, this is a big game. It has all the ingredients for a delicious recipe; rivalry, evenly matched teams, SEC ramifications, there may even be some good football played on Saturday.

ABUURN is mauled!

Abuurn has become a very good team during the course of the year. Their defense is especially good. They excel on defense; we are a little better on the offensive side of the ball. So, it appears to me it should be the strength of their D against the strength of our offense. Unlike Arkansas, we are balanced on offense. That magnifies the difficutly against any good defense.
They will play hard, tough, physical football. We must do same, especially on defense. We've got to show more grit on defense like we did against the gayturs.

Exactly DawgSpeare!! AU has the #1 D in the SEC averaging giving up just over 14 points per game. We do have the better offense but OUR D needs to step it up. D wins big ballgames.
