Yeah Donnan was the problem, remember the all-white pants instead of silver britches, that black stripe on the helmet was bad....I love the dog bones on the back of the helmets, even more than the stars in the Dooley days

Hi vadawgfan, The only time I ever saw the Dawgs wear black jerseys was at the old G-Day games back in the early 50's. The Red team wore red jerseys and the black team wore the black ones. That stopped in the late fifties, when the black team started wearing white jerseys. I can't ever remember seeing black jerseys being used in a regular season game. As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!

Now that's history.

Yeah, McShea87, I like the dog bones too but HATED the black stripe on the helmets.
