Before the season, I predicted that we would go into Jacksonville and make Tebow pancakes. In fact, my entire season prediction for the Dawgs revolved around this supposition. I was ridiculed by my family -- especially my father -- and found doubt even from members of this forum. Well, we went into Jacksonville and whipped us up some batter, didn't we? This weekend proved that when Dawgs are riled, Dawgs will bite. Let's keep biting.
Troy is next. Their quarterback is banged up. It's homecoming, and what a homecoming it will be! It will be the first time since 2004 that Georgia has come home after beating Florida, and we should play \"Hail the Conquering Hero\" for them when they do. I'll be at the game with my little brother. Anyone who is going to this game, you don't stop clapping period. These boys deserve every bit of thanks and praise we can give them. More importantly, they deserve every bit of ENERGY we can feed them at Sanford Stadium. Let's not get complacent. In 2004 we beat defending national champs LSU 45-16. We turned around and lost to lowly Tennessee the next week. We CANNOT get complacent, nor can we let our Dawgs get that way. Just because we beat the defending national champs doesn't mean we can overlook the threat posed by Kentucky, or Auburn, or even Tech or Troy. We're #10 in the country, folks. Last year was the first since 2001 that we've finished OUTSIDE of the top ten. Let's stay at the top. The best thing we can do is keep that energy up in between the hedges these next three games (THE MOST IMPORTANT THREE GAMES ALL SEASON) and give our Dawgs the edge they deserve at home.
LET'S MAKE TROJAN PANCAKES!!!!
