What is wrong with our dawgs?

I'm ashamed to this, but the last two games we have played like a team that is not ranked in the top 25. How is CMR going to pull this team together? Again, we had too many dropped passes, inconsistancy in the running game, and a very disappointing defence. We did face another option QB and that is a known weakess we have had. Maybe I'm too enthusiastic!!! I really don't believe that. I'm just a big dawg fan!!!!!! Anyway GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sat in stunned silence for the second week in a row at the first half performance of our beloved team. I cannot understand why we are flat and can only attribute it to the O not having a seasoned leader. Both Stafford and Cox are going to be great but I guess we have been spoiled after 4 years of Greene and then Shockley filling in like a true veteran when his number was finally called. The growing pains will pass but I only hope we can muster some life before Ainge and the Vols come to town. Out defense is going to have to play huge. Dropped Passes, Dropped Passes and more Dropped Passes. I was pleased that Goodman stepped up and made some big plays after some early season drops. He has real potential to be an All American someday with his speed. MoMass has got to get his head in the game. I think CMR benched him after the second drop but con't be sure. Will be in full bark mode next weekend! Go Dawgs!!!

I too was stunned but only because we are used to seeing such great plays and what everyone is forgetting is at the end of last year when we lost so many of our outstanding players everyone said that this team wasnt going to be worth anything this year. Now considering all that was lost and how many new faces we have this year I think CMR is doing a great job with these guys. Yes I will agree some of the vetren players are making mistakes but I just think everyone has to step back for a moment and look at the big picture here they may have been hard wins and they may have been against teams that in the past we would have just cake walked all over but we are 5-0 with a rookie team just about...win or lose DAWGS ARE AWSOME !!!!!! just my thoughts ..hey what do I know I'm just a girl 8)

I, just as SOOO many others, also sat there thinking what is going on?! But I do have to agree with Missy about our Dawgs this year. I honestly didn't expect to see them in the Top 10 until MAYBE the end of the year. Don't get me wrong, I love the Dawgs...always have. But, I really didn't anticipate a 5-0 team!

On an individula basis, I think a few of the Dawgs stepped up last night. Lumpkin had a career high game, Goodman finally held on to the ball for some good gains....and since I was a fullback I always love watching Southerland rumble in for a score or two!!! I think that the big question last night was our offensive line. Two blocked punts and they have got to give these two young QBs more time. They are much better than they played last night.

While I don't know how many more come-from-behind, last minute games my blood pressure will allow me to enjoy.....LOL.....all I can say is come next weekend.............. you better HUNKER DOWN YOU HAIRY DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After how well our first three games went, I forgot about how many rookies that are starting this year. I guess we have been spoiled the Jeff Green era. We should be very pleased that we have had the fight to come back and win after a poor performance in the first half. I agree that if we don't pull it together for next week, we will find ourselves with the first lost this season.

I agree about next weekend not sure if my blood pressure is gonna be able to take it or not either lol...but win or lose ill be there watchin and screamin at the tv till the very end...and just a little correction dawgsince5 did you mean the david greene era?? lol anyhow dawgs rock no matter what the circumstances...I only have one question tho...why cant I upload my own avitar?? :shock: oh well GOOOOO DAWWWGGGGGSSSS!!!!!!!!
