Are we that good or are they that bad?

The Dawgs sure looked good this past saturday. I was totally impressed with the play of Shockley. Could not believe that he gain more yards rushing than all the other backs put together. I really thought I would be going thru withdrawals not going to the game. That sure wasn't the case. I enjoyed not having to get up at the crack of dawn, fighting traffic, hoping to find a place to park & tailgate and then not getting home till 11:30pm or midnight. I even watch the "Insects" from that trade school play later that evening. Isn't TV great. Hope NC-Dawg enjoyed it as much as I did up in the mountains of the "Tar Heel" state. Can't wait for MR to turn loose those backs and let them have at it against those "choking chickens". Please no let down like last year against the "Vols" after we dumped "LSU". I thought the O line was great giving Shock the time to throw. The D did great also. It was interception city. Let's keep it up "you guys" as Larry would say.

YEAH! For real. How bout they're over rated and we're under rated. That's about the only way I can explain a pure butt whippen like that!!!

I will confess, the withdrawl was most apparent just before kickoff. Hearing the Sanford noise, realizing that the day was perfect of football, I was in a bit of a funk! However, once Z tossed that INT, I was completely wrapped up in the game until the final second ticked off the clock. In hindsight I, like yourself, did not miss the travel time, the set-up/breakdown, the traffic and the return travel. Do I wish I still had my seats??? Hell YES, but looking into the amazingly sharp picture of this newly acquired plasma does help quell the void. Now I gotta get TiVo, so that I'll have digital recording and playback, to make the journey complete!

To answer the initial question,...We ARE that good and though we will receive similar strained recognition once we pluck the clucks, I'm thinking the UT game will have huge consequences and the Dawgs won't receive their "due" until then. Fine by me...better the role of the spoiler!!!!!!!!!

I do like the idea of being the spoiler because we all know how it feels to have a perfect team and season get it spoiled because of a rivalry or some other reason!
