Better thank the o-line. They suddenly decided to start blocking when Cox came in the game. Pass blocking, anyway.

Now we can get on to the real reply. I don't know if anyone read the ABH Sunday, but JC said something incredible when he first got into the huddle. After reassuring our Dawgs and telling them to follow him down the field, he pointed them at the scoreboard and said "If we can't score two touchdowns, then we don't deserve to wear the G's on the sides of our helmets."
Seriously...could even Larry Munson say something like that? Go Dawgs! Go Joe!

I never completely understood the reason CMR elevated MS over JC in the first place. I believe I've discussed this here, as well as several other sites and I'm still shocked at the willingness to forgive MS for the same mistakes and miscues that apparently benched JC.
Well, last Saturday uncovered what I've feared for some time...raw talent often takes a backseat to experience. I am thankful that JC got the opportunity to showcase his ability and in my opinion, deserves to start against Ole Miss. I believe CMR was recently quoted as concerned that these "Dawgs" hadn't been tested and had yet to deal with adversity. Well, we got tested Saturday and the young man from Independence HS came off the bench and inspired this team. If the quote mentioned below is accurate, then it is very telling of this young mans character.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!

I really wonder where Cox is from sometimes. Sources tell me that he is from NC, but from looking at him and the way he talks about the Dawgs and the passion he has for the game, I'd think he was a Bulldog born and raised in Athens. GO JOE and GO DAWGS!
