Guess I should not say this but . . . .
Reminds me of one \"Slick Willie\" out of Arkansas. You wonder how they get as far as they do. Seem to be able to pull the wool over most folks eyes. . . .
Yeesh, politicians. One wonders, on EITHER side, how they get as far as they do. What always intrigued me was that the \"Slick Willie\" nomer was a play on \"Tricky Dick,\" a notorious trickster from the other side of the ball.
The other \"how they got where they did\" thing that always bothered me about the last two presidents we've had is this: personal vs. professional. Clinton comes across as forthright, personable and likable on camera, but I've met the man, and though I think he's the best president of the 20th century, in person he's a slimeball. Seriously. Don't want to be around him. On the other hand, Bush comes across as dishonest and a bit bullying/petulant on camera, but I've heard that in person he's VERY likable and a rather warm, funny individual.
This isn't as much about football as it should be. How can I save it...
Oh yeah! Clinton played football (he was a Rhodes Scholar) and Bush was a cheerleader for the Yale football team! There! I brought it back to football! And since Yale is the Bulldogs, I've actually brought it back to our mascot!
