It aint looking good for the O-Line.

Chip Towers' blog on AJC on line basically says that the o-line aint looking too good in practice. Vince Vance isn't doing well, has a freshman beating him out, and is in the O-line coach's doghouse. Haverkamp is still gimpy on a bad ankle. Strickland was in a green no contact jersey. Stafford was runing for his life the whole practice. On the other hand, he said that the defense reminded him of the FSU defenses of the 90s. He said there were some REAL athletes there, and that the defense should be fine for this year, as well as more years to come. BTW, the punting wasn't lookin too good, either. too many shanks, pooches, high and shallow, etc. Towers says this could also be a real problem.

Ughhh, that dosnt sound good. Oh well, I'm still optimistic!

If we know it going in we can scheme around it. I am guessing they are having pass blocking troubles and not run blocking since run blocking is more straight forward.

According to all the media types at the practices, we aint gonna have to worry so much about the defense....it's the o-line that is scaring the bejeezus out of everybody.
