From Athens-Game Day Friday Orange Bowl

Good Morning All,

Much has been written since December 3 and the four teams that were selected to play for the Natty. Good news we get to move on to a 12 team playoff starting 2024.

If you are one of the four teams selected to play this year for the Natty the CFP selection committee got it right. The rest of the college football world has its collective doubts.

Dawgs came through the maze of the transfer portal, NSD with the number one recruiting class for the year and the entire group signed . 

The former Dawgs who left for greener pastures have been replaced by those who wanted the challenge of playing for Georgia..... the talking heads leaning towards the Dawgs have netted a slight improvement. Add several of our new recruits to mix our 2024 starting roster looks strong and promising.

Not having to suffer replacing Beck is huge .... add in the returning players who also committed to playing one more year for the Dawgs raises our skill and talent level needed to winning another Natty......

The Orange Bowl ....   Dawgs motivated..... win for the seniors to send them off as the winningest class in Georgia history........ Play to our standard... take care of business ....

Winter workouts.... spring ball.... summer workouts.... fall camp........ start the season with juicing Clemson...

Growl....   wife says she has our tailgate covered... this is code ... our daughters and her have plotted a menu.

Pause and give thanks....  continue to check on family and friends often...

Yd1, we have no doubts that the Women of the house must have a scrumptious meal planned for you, so eat and enjoy.  We plan on having homemade Vegetable Soup, my Moms recipe that my Wife has just made it a little bit better and is soooooo good!

Chief.... being a Yankees I know the benefits of hot vegetable soup on a cold winter day.

Dank weather here in Athens so foresee homemade soup making an appearance shortly.... served with some fresh baked sourdough bread to sop up the broth.
