Morning Dawg fans... a crisp 25 here in the Queen City this morning. Ready to see the Dawgs finish this season out strong, undistracted, determined and focused.
I have a feeling that Brent Key will have a few tricks up his sleeve and there's going to be a lot of familiar faces on the sidelines & on the field. Tech would absolutely love to spoil our season and we simply cannot allow that to happen. I'm more than happy to with seeing an unsung hero become a sung hero after this game, like Dillon Bell was last week. I have no doubt that we will not be "looking ahead" to next week.
It seems like we've started a tradition of dominance by letting the opponent score the first touchdown. Should we do that today? Just stand back & let them run it in so we can get our game clicking? Hahaha.
Key has had this game circled on his calendar since he accepted the Gnats job offer last summer. He even mentioned it in his presser and has been emphatic that they're going to beat us.
Hope that has sunk into our players' minds. Would love to see this be our most dominant win of the season with as much mouth running as Tech's coaching staff has been doing.
