From Athens - Game Day #9 10-28-23

Good Day All,

This week we play the Lizards, another urange team. My strong dislike of urange teams has not changed.....   

Yes we will be without Bowers... we have played many games under Kirby with starters being out with injuries. Pickens, Nolan Smith and numerous others.

It's a challenge to both coaches and players.... nothing changes...about moving on to the next man up.. we have had two starting OL out the past two games and their replacements have played well....

Yes Bowers is a special player... a unicorn ....nobody is going to replace him... Kirby has acknowledged that several times.... Beck has other weapons that he has used effectively....  I look for him to continue to grow in our offense using the talent around him.  

I also feel our defense will cause turnovers in this game.

Dawgs stay focused they will take care of business.  

Pause and give thanks....  continue to check on family and friends often.

Agree Yd1, can’t depend on one player to keep you afloat, but He is very special and you hate to be without him for a game like this!
