Morning all,
It's a comfortable 68 degree morning here and the coffee is steaming. YD1 summed the thoughts on this game well yesterday. No team can be taken for granted, not Samford, not App State, not Georgia Southern, not Louisiana-Lafayette or any of these other FCS teams that love to throw a spanner into the SEC gear works. So lets go out there, play solid ball early so we can get the young guys some experience. This is a game where you just pray there's no injuries and you escape it healthy.
YD/Growl....Rain in the forecast this afternoon so the pit boss is taking a weekend off. Menu today is smatter of toothpick food consisting of homemade italian meatballs with vodka sauce & ziti, two trays of baked sausage & cheese balls, and of course, some we broke out the kettle yesterday & spent all day making boiled peanuts. Its definitely goober season.
The enchiladas sound fantastic YD. Costco sells some mango salsa that is yummmmm...If the wife goes to Costco, check out the Matteo's jarred salsa. That stuff is crack in a jar.
Will be watching the Gumps vs. Tejas, the Hogs vs. Cocks today, and definitely the Kentucky vs. FU game tonight. Pulling hard for Kentucky in this one, but they're down several players due to injury & disciplinary issues. It's a tall order to beat FU in the cesspool, and being injured doesn't help affairs. But still...GO CATS!!
