Here we are almost two weeks later and it still feels good man.

Welp... JT and Burton was not a package deal as Burton is going to Alabama.

This was about Burton realizing UGA is not a dynamic QB and WR driven offense.

Honestly, I get it. I really struggle to understand how we will recruit truly elite offensive talent. If we do get it, I understand we may lose it in this free agent environment.

Our RB room is always a committee, with no one having above 900 yards. Two players with more than 100 carries, and no one with 200.

Receivers? 1 guy with more than 500 yards and that was a TE.

Compare that to 'Bama with Robinson darn near 300 carries and 1300 yards.
Williams and Metchie with 80+ receptions and well over 1000 yards each.. one at 1500 yards.

Just pointing it out...

Wart ….. wish Burton all the best … appreciate his time at Georgia..

As SD … and others have stated…it’s always about next man up ..

We have talent at WR more arriving…recruits and we will look for transfers from the portal…

Many years ago when we lost several flips late in the recruiting cycle

You just never can tell what a recruit is thinking until the rubber meets the road, and sometimes you dont get the results that you bought into. 2021 was a good year for the DAWGS because the plan worked and we got positive the results that we hoped for. 2022 should be a better than average year with maybe some folks stepping up their Game and turning out to be more than we planned, we will see when the Rubber meets the Road.

I'll just never understand it when a player walks away from an elite program where they are starting, and goes to one of their biggest rivals.

Robertson to Auburn and Burton to 'Bama... I just don't get it. Almost makes me think something underhanded is going on, but I digress.

If not underhanded then I really want to understand what prompts moves like that.
