GAME DAY: GEORGIA BULLDOGS VS UAB BLAZERS

I understand the logic of starting the hobbit. He is a gamer. But Man Beck has to get some reps. When UGA has these chances to bring a QB along they can't waste them.

Stetson, for the most part ,was steady when we needed him and should be an adequate QB in this situation, but as Kentdaddy points out, this is a prime training opportunity for Beck. UGA do whats right and we win both ways.

This game is an object lesson in loyalty. Bennett earned this. He sat. He learned. Hell, he left then came back when Georgia needed help. Let the kid have his moment to shine. Give him something to tell his grandkids.

I am OK with Bennett getting his moment. But we need to develop Beck and Vandagriff. The only way to do that is with playing time.

That was exactly the type of performance we needed. Exactly the type of score we needed to earn the respect and have the blowout performance we needed against a team that should have been blown out. I know this is going to sound like I can't be pleased, but I really wanted the shut out. This D continues to dominate in a way we haven't seen before.

I don't know what's going on with Podlesny. Missing that chip shot in what amounted to a practice game and his shank last week concerns me.

Agree with Limey - Bennett earned this one. Great to see him get his moment. Much happier this week with the offensive play calling.

SC next week. They looked like hot garbage today eeking out that W against E Carolina.
