Just when the talking heads were getting ready to move from the preseason hype.... to feeding us more overcooked gruel...... on season predictions...
Along comes SEC expansion....
Yippee..... much hyperbole.. from it being the best or worse for college football...... this will provide many talking points going forward until it all gets sorted out....
All you need to do is look at Texas .... no to me it’s telling that it is more than the added money.... lack of money has never been an issue with Texas...
To me it is a branding issue... what we have known for years and the rest of the world now admits.. The SEC is college football..... Texas and Oklahoma read the tea leaves. Big 12 .. does not have the horsepower to project their teams onto the national TV stage Like the SEC...
So .... much like the musical chairs game we will see which conference is next .... up to reinvent themselves...
This move by the SEC ..... secures their position as the leader in college football ....
Fall camps starts very soon .... downhill run to September 4th..
Wart..... truly no repeat no excuses ..
