Football realignment

Well it certainly looks like the SEC is going to add some big named teams. DO they stop at 16 with OU and Texas? I heard one scenario has the SEC growing to 20 as a super conference with other big names. Interesting times. The big conferences will likely break from the NCAA and do their own thing in football I bet.

KD.... totally agree... this is just the beginning of the reinvention of college sports.... lead by football..

The SEC will be the first Super Conference. ... but others will try to follow quickly .... new money to be had....

Many ideas floating around.... to join a mega conference you must have a football stadium capacity of 80K... and have X dollars in the football budget... and.... have a plan to keep your facilities on a level with the other league schools... no NCCA...
Conferences will provide their own leadership.... Vandy gets grandfathered in .. but .... more questions.....

Texas has always been the program with the most money ... now that increases... Horns been wandering in the woods...
Since 2009 .... imho.... might be awaking a sleeping giant.....
