He is a smart guy too. He can see this years draft is loaded at QB and he could hope to maybe be a second round pick if that.
Lawrence, Fields, BYU guy, NDSU guy, Mac Jones and Trask would all go before Daniels in even his best case scenario and Ian Book might too. But I cannot think for the life of me who would be the stud coming out next year. If Daniels lights it up he could be a top 5 pick next year.

Yes it is clear offense is absolutely critical. But having a big stud in the middle who can blow plays up certainly helps as well. If Jordan Davis works hard he will be a top 10 pick the next draft because he already has a run stuffing ability.

I am super happy Fields got stomped. He does not have great arm strength or decision making for the next level.
