First Game Day Friday of the season.. Just feels so good to say it.. It’s been a round about way getting here.... We have learned much about living the new norm... and the process continues each day....
Much media hype about us overpowering the Hogs.... experience proves each football season that the games are not played on paper...
Overall I think our HC has kept our players grounded and focused... truly don’t know what happened last year in our loss to the Chickens.... enough blame to be shared all around.....
With an all only conference schedule this season .... playing one game at a time is absolutely key to our postseason dreams....
Imho.... the media heads did us a favor naming the Gators to win the East..
This means we have to earn any and all respect from the talking heads..
Believe CKS and the assistant coaches like using our underdog role as a motivation tool.... Ain’t nobody out there feeling sorry for us... nope...us against the world.... Band of brothers.... I like it.....
Really like to see ground and pound... Move the chains... eat clock... mix in passes to keep things honest..... solid basic football.... don’t get cute and try a bunch of trickery....let everyone get the butterflies.... gone... get a rhythm going on both sides of the ball...
Play a bunch of folks.... I see points being scored by our defense....
Get the win... can’t shake hands.... shower get in the plane .. come home...
Enjoy the win....on Sunday....back to chopping wood on Monday
Gus bus ... rolling towards Athens.... nothing more Gus would rather do than hang a “L” on us at our house....
Growl.... what’s on the game day grill ?
Pause and give thanks
Continue.. to check on family and friends often...
Have a safe weekend and week....
As always “Go Dawgs “

The day we’ve been waiting for is one night of sleep away! You nailed it YD with your post as usual, and your statement about us getting into a rhythm on both O and D. Pound the rock and let Mathis settle into the game with some screens, dumps and intermediate passes. Once he settles turn him loose and let him make his mistakes. He will learn and grow from them.
GO DAWGS
