Good Day All,
Another week passes and the SEC is moving ahead with their fall football schedule..
While the league gave us a break with the added two games...it turns around and gives us a brutal six week stretch of no home games...
We play just four games at Sanford this season.... silver lining.... we come home and finish the season against Vandy. This could be key preparing
for the SECCG.....
I think our HC will use the schedule to our benefit..... we go on the road... no fans except for the UF game in JAX..... ain’t nobody going to feel sorry for us.. Dawgs against the world....
Just have to go in and ball out..... it’s going to be a weekly business trip..
Take care of business..one game at a time... get on the plane and come home and do it again..... staying focused...and using our depth.... two critical points we will have to remain mindful of...
Back in the spring... the NCAA made the announcement.... no students on campus taking in person classes.... no fall sports...
Well... North Carolina after one week of in person classes saw the number of cases of COVID-19 raise among the students..so canceled in person classes... moving to all online courses...
The football team continues to practice and will play their ACC schedule.. as of now .....
Notre Dame cancels in room classes for two weeks... football team continues to practice .... they did take a short break after several players tested positive...they were placed in quarantine along with several others who they had come in contact with..
Michigan State... cancels fall in person classes... football season was cancelled last week..
Crickets..... is what we are hearing from the NCAA.... this was just plain stupid ...imho...linking they students on campus in classrooms to having a football season.
No decision yet on keeping .... Dawg Walk... Band ,cheerleaders.... or...tailgating..
SEC is allowing each school to set their policy on these activities..
Time to ponder on our schedule ....
Pause and give thanks....
Continue to check on family and friends often...
Have a safe weekend and week..
As always “Go Dawgs “
Go Dawgs!
